History:

The most recent addition to the Regult LAPs' arsenal, the Morgoth is a missile with a large, thin cased warhead optimized for fragmentation and blast effect. It is typically used against area targets, though with its large impact it is also quite capable against mecha and fortifications. Using a segmented design, with the guidance and warhead section up front, a wasp-waisted connecting section behind the warhead and the engine section with the four standard radar aerials in the back, the Morgoth is the slowest and least ranged missile available to the Regult LAP. However, its range is quite sufficient for battlefield use, and the effects of a hit are usually devastating.
